As for the sources for his specialized work, he studies them not only in the archives in the Czech Republic, but also in Rome, especially in the Vatican Secret Archives and the Vatican Apostolic Library. He is a member of the Associazione Italiana dei Professori di Storia della Chiesa. Since 2016, he is a warrantor of a lecture cycle “European Culture and Christianity” at the “University of the Third Age” at the Palacký University in Olomouc.
